About Me

Hi, my name is Samantha, and I am a medical student from sunny South Florida. I have been involved in music since I was 2 years old and have spent many years performing in competitions, choirs, and church services. My musical influences include Rachmaninoff, Bach, and Liszt, and I have the most experience with classical music and hymns. As a teacher, I believe a strong foundation is everything. Learning proper posture, technique, and scales opens the door for students to grow into confident, versatile musicians who can explore many different styles over time. In my lessons, students can expect to learn scales, how to break down and understand a piece, and how to build their skills in a fun and encouraging environment. I like to remind my students that progress matters more than perfection. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing students become more confident and proud of themselves as they improve. My students love that I am patient, positive, and focused on helping them feel comfortable while still challenging them to grow. My approach as a teacher is to combine strong fundamentals with encouragement and enjoyment, so students not only learn well, but also truly love music. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
