I have been in my school's jazz band class for 2 years, playing guitar in my sophomore year and the bass in my current junior year. I also have been learning the double bass for this class throughout the school year. I also have been in my school's show choir show band since my freshman year playing the guitar. Currently I am teaching classes in the Cosby High school Beginner, intermediate and Ensemble groups. Giving graded assignments as well as playing tests. Through this teaching experience my mentor nominated me for the Future Music Educators Symposium where I learned different teaching techniques and gave private lessons to a student. This helped me find my passion for spreading music and realize that I wanted to teach music for my career.
