I began my musical journey in 5th grade as a flute player, quickly developing a strong foundation and passion for music that carried with me throughout my high school years. As I grew more confident and curious, I branched out beyond flute, exploring a wide range of instruments including clarinet alto, bass, contrabass, etc., trumpet, mallet percussion, cymbals, and more. This versatility allowed me to better understand different sections of an ensemble and become a more well-rounded musician. By my junior year of high school, my dedication and leadership were recognized when I was selected as a section leader. In this role, I helped guide and support other musicians, strengthened group cohesion, and contributed to the overall success of the ensemble. My experience across multiple instruments, combined with my leadership skills, reflects both my commitment to growth and my passion for music.
