Hi, my name is Steven and I am a guitarist from derby. I have been a student of music for 10 years. My musical influences include are blues, rock,pop, and country and I also enjoy jazz. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed and easy going with the intent of making learning fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I make sure my students constantly feel motivated. In my lessons, you can expect to learn scales, theory, and basic chord changing that will help you learn songs. I like to tell my students with a little effort each day you can improve and get good. My favorite thing about teaching is helping my students achieve the gift of playing music. My favorite performance was when i played in Atlanta, GA. My students love that I give them the confidence and belief to become a musician. I primarily teach from my home in derby, but I can also teach at my students homes as well.
