Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, both as a performer and as someone who enjoys helping others discover their own voice in it. Over the years I’ve had the chance to teach and lead music in a variety of settings, working with people at every stage of their musical journey. My approach is relational and encouraging. I care just as much about building confidence and enjoyment as I do about technique. I teach piano at the beginner to intermediate level, helping students build a strong foundation in rhythm, reading music, and basic theory while learning songs they actually enjoy playing. My goal is to make the instrument feel approachable while giving students the tools they need to grow independently. With voice, I’ve worked with singers across all experience levels. Whether someone is brand new to singing or already comfortable performing, I focus on helping them develop control, confidence, and expression. Because much of my background is in leading and performing in live musical environments, I often help singers connect technique with real-world performance. I also teach saxophone to students at all stages, from those picking up the instrument for the first time to players looking to refine their tone and musicality. Lessons typically cover fundamentals like breath support, tone production, and reading music, while also exploring different styles and helping students grow as expressive musicians. At the heart of it all, I love helping people experience the joy of making music. Whether it’s a child learning their first notes or an adult returning to an instrument they haven’t played in years, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment is always my priority.
