Aidan P.

Hi! Aidan is a recent graduate of the New School Eugene Lang School for Liberal Arts with a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Music. He has been playing, writing, and recording music since grade 6. A multi-instrumentalist, he has been trained and taught in the tradition and language of jazz and improvisatory music, mainly as an upright bassist. He is just as fluent in piano, drums and guitar. Following his jazz upbringing, he has accompanied and played in various bands of different genres ranging from rock, bluegrass, country, electronic and more. Throughout his college years he has expanded his lexicon as a solo artist delving into DJing, live electronic music, and composition for larger ensembles. His most recent projects are explorations of a stripped down singer-songwriter sound, and released a self-titled EP under the pseudonym ap. 5 original songs composed of just guitar and vocal performance.
