About Me

Hi, my name is Jesse and I’m a musician from NYC. I’ve been playing guitar, bass, keyboard, and producing music for about 20 years. I’m knowledgeable in a variety of genres, including rock, jazz, country, classical, Afrobeat, and reggae. I’m offering one-on-one lessons to students of all ages. In my lessons, you can expect to learn solid technique, music theory, ear training, and how to express yourself creatively through your instrument. I like to tell my students that consistency and curiosity are the keys to progress. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students surprise themselves with what they’re capable of. My students love that I make learning fun, relaxed, and focused on their personal goals. I primarily teach guitar and bass, but I can also teach keyboard and music production.
