Lauren has always loved music from an early age. She began playing guitar at the age of seven and continued her education by quitting guitar and pursuing saxophone and later, piano. Some of her favorite musical artists include Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, and David Bowie. Lauren's favorite thing about music is the performing aspect and her favorite thing about teaching music is seeing students grow into better musicians and people. One of her favorite teaching experiences was introducing different music genres to a group of little kids. When taking lessons with Lauren you can expect, some funny analogies.
