What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

Start by finding out what your goals are for voice lessons. Do you have a short term goal-an upcoming audition or performance you need to prepare for; you love singing and want to learn to learn basic vocal training to help you with music you are singing in a choir at church or school; you are a serious vocal student who wants serious vocal training; sing but don't know how to read music and need to learn how, need to learn sight singing, etc. Your lessons will be focused on the training that matches your goals. There is joy in singing! Whether you are interested in classical training or are interested in singing Country, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Pop we will work on your goals. I like to make vocal training enjoyable and teach in a positive, committed approach. I will help you perform with accompaniment tracks or with an accompanist, whichever you prefer.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner -

Expect a warm welcome!!! We will talk about your goals! What's important to you? Do you want your son or daughter to learn the basics of piano or keyboard so they can play their favorite Christmas songs or hymns? Do you want to be able to learn scales and how to play vocal warm-ups as a voice student? Have you always wanted to learn to play the piano for fun and the joy of playing? I will design your piano lessons to reach your goals. I have fun ways to learn to read music and believe in rewarding progress not just perfection. Positive reinforcement is much more effective than negative.
