Jake has always loved music from an early age. He began playing piano at the age of 6 and continued his education by learning the Trumpet at age 12 and becoming his high school band section leader for 2 years. His musical influences include sounds from around the world, including classical, hip hop, salsa, edm, pop, country, and alternative rock. He has a huge obsession with Wicked. Jake's favorite thing about music is the constant beat, and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing the excitement on his students faces when they play a song for the first time. One of his favorite teaching experiences was in high school marching band. When taking lessons with Jake you can expect to have fun and achieve what you might not have thought was possible.
