Hi, my name is Dewayne and I am a musician from Georgetown, SC. I have been a student of music for 28 years. My musical influences include Sam Cooke, Bobby Womack, Hall and Oates, and others. My teaching style can best be described as patient but enthusiastic. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying I make sure my students have an understanding of what they're doing. In my lessons, you can expect to learn foundational elements and skills to play confidently. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth of my students. My favorite performance was with my students from our local community drumline, where they one first place against 10 other drumlines.. My students love that I am relatable.
