Alisha began singing at the age of 10. Over the years, she’s developed her skills further by taking music courses from grade school to college. She gained performance experience in the vocal performance area by taking independent vocal classes, creating her own music, participating in various advanced vocal choirs, and singing back up for acts such as Christopher Williams. Though Alisha can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are rhythm and blues, blues, jazz, theatre, and gospel, which has great influence on her style of playing. Alisha loves music because it’s fills in the blanks that words leave open and loves teaching music because it brings confidence and healing to others.
