Hi, my name is Mark and I am a guitarist from New York. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences include everything from Beethoven to Paul McCartney, and I also enjoy listening to jazz and R&B. My teaching style is all-encompassing, meaning I not only teach my students to play, but also to think musically. My teaching philosophy prioritizes thorough understanding over plain memorization. In my lessons, you can expect to learn a style of guitar that personally interests you, music theory, and so much more. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students make progress in real-time every lesson. My students love that I try to make music seem as interesting to them as it is to me.
