Hi, my name is Carter. My main instrument is my voice and I've been singing my entire life. I have a bachelor's degree in music performance from the University of Delaware, and I'm a certified vocalist in the Delaware Army National Guard band. My favorite genres to sing in are rock, punk, metal, and musical theater. But I am also classically trained and can teach Opera and Art song. I'm also proficient with singing in Italian, French, German, and Hebrew. One thing that I can offer that not every voice teacher can is experience with vocal fry. I can teach false chord screams, gutteral screams, fry screams, and inhalation screams. I can also teach proper mic technique, and ways to work an audience. I'd love to get the chance to work with you in order to become the best singer you can be.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I've been writing songs for years, and have experience with both poetry and music theory. I can help you form chord progressions, come up with lyrics, and create melodies to apply to them. I've studied art song for two years at the University of Delaware, and have been writing rock songs that I perform with my band.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
An open environment where I will meet you at your experience level, and strive to better your voice. We can work in any genre you want to, and I encourage you to bring me music that you want to sing that we can work on together.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner -
I can teach you the basics of piano as well as music theory. Not only can I get you started on your piano career, but I can also give you the resources you need to get better once you've surpassed me.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
I've been playing bass and guitar for 6 years, and can teach you the basics of each instrument. I can also help you learn how to improvise by teaching you theory.
