About Me
Olive P’Simer is a Seattle-Based Bassist, Composer, and producer. Olive started their musical journey when they were 14 and has been writing music ever since. They primarily play electric bass, but are also proficient in Ukulele pennywhistle, Guitar, Live Electronics, and mandocello. They studied composition, live electronics and bass under Dr. Tom Baker, Marcin PÄ…czkowski and Kelsey Mines at Cornish College of The Arts and graduated Cum Laude in 2025. The music they produce ranges from Atonal Neoclassical to Pop/Rock songs to experimental electronic music. As a teacher Olive focuses on helping their students learn the fundamentals of music theory and technique as an avenue to greater artistic expression. Improvisation and composition are at the core of their practice as a musician and teacher.
