About Me

Hey there, My name is Camden, and I am a singer/guitarist. I first fell in love with music at the age of 12 and joined show choir where I learned to sing and perform. I then picked up the guitar at 13 and began to fall in love with the instrument. I progressed for many years until I graduated high school and life felt empty. I joined the choir at Delta State University, where my vocal skills really started to sprout. I stayed there for a year, but still felt a bit empty. So, I packed my things and moved to Mississippi College where I am now. I studied music for a year, where I achieved a minor in music, and a whole lot of music electives. I was also classically trained as a vocalist for 3 full semesters, with multiple performances under my belt. For the past year and a half, I was employed as the head of music ministry. This is where I truly fell in love with development and teaching. We started as a one man band with just me and my guitar, but through the efforts of seeking others and teaching things like guitar, voice, and even piano, we leveled up to a full band and vocal rotation. I left the job for personal reasons; however, I could not shake the amazing feeling that it was to teach a student and watch them grow.
