About Me

I, Jade, have made music my foremost passion and endeavor since pulling my dad’s bass guitar out of the case when I was 12 years old. My musical journey effectively begins there. Since that very age, I’ve been filling in on bass for local bands of older musicians, ultimately leading me to a love of music that’s effectively ruled my life since. I currently study music production at Millersville University and am in two bands of my own. Before transferring to Millersville, I took three semesters of jazz improv lessons at Lebanon Valley College that helped me hone my craft as an improvisational player. Lately, I’ve sought to become a teacher, because I’d like to help others discover the love of music I have. Playing live has been the both the spice and sunshine in my life since I began doing it, and I always strive to be the best musician I can be so I can pass that joy on to others. Whether learning from me or simply enjoying the music I create, It's my goal to make sure I'm able to help people in little ways through music.
