About Me

Hi, my name is Sara and I am a vocal and songwriting teacher from North Kansas City. I have been a student of music for 6 years. My musical influences include pop, rock, folk, CCM, and I also enjoy country music. My teaching style can best be described as a personal trainer for the voice. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe everyone can sing with the right training. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to smooth out your transitions from chest to mixed to head voice. I like to tell my students to never give up! If you can speak, then you can sing! My favorite thing about teaching is seeing students become confident in their voices. My students love that I help them find their own style.
