Review About Me
I've been playing bass for 9 years and writing music for 19 years. I've played for artist like Brandon Hines, Melonie Daniels, Cheryl "Pepsi" Reilly and Heda Rose. I'm currently on tour with an artist named Kurt Rockmore. My influences include musicians like Sting, Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny, Lyle Mayes, Hiromi Uehara, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Dr. Charles Mymit, and Donald Fagen (of Steely Dan).
Shelley S is proficient in and teaches Bass Guitar Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .
Formal Education:
I graduated from Five Towns College. I received my H.S diploma in 2006 from Upper Room Christian School.
Private Education:
I've studied under artists such as Justin Raines, Lyd Edmund, John DeWitt, Wes Stephenson and Tony Grey.
Performing Experience:
I've performed with Cheryl "Pepsi" Reilly at the Village underground in Manhattan, Kurt Rockmore at Soundstage, The Fillmore, and at SOBs. I've been performing on bass since High School at around age 17
