Throughout high school, she expanded her instrument repertoire and continued developing her skills in college, where she performed in both the marching band and orchestra. Her musical influences include a blend of classical composers and modern artists who emphasize emotion, storytelling, and strong musicality. Mackenzie’s favorite thing about music is its ability to connect people and express emotion in a way nothing else can, and her favorite thing about teaching music is helping students build confidence while discovering their own unique sound.
