I found myself as a person when I got my first drum kit. I annoyed the heck out of my neighbors for months before I really understood what I was doing, but it was beautiful. It was loud, and I always thought the drummers were the coolest members in the band. not biased at all I spent all my free time trying to find friends to jam with. I tried out for bands that I knew I wasn't ready for, but gave it a shot anyway. In that, I learned so much! I've been a student of the drums for 17 years, and have been touring, and playing professionally for 14 years. It's been amazing, and I love letting someone sit down at the kit and showing them a groove of sorts, and watching them pick it up! The lightbulb goes off and it's awesome to see.

Formal Education:
I graduated from Rockwall-Heath High School in 2010. After that I took some college courses, then left for tour in the middle of that. I'm now studying Architectural Drafting and am due to graduate with my associates in December of this year.
Performing Experience:
I got my first set for Christmas back in 2009, I was 17. Late start I know (lol). Since that day though, you can't pull me off of a drum kit if there's one around. After High School I took off on a DIY tour as a member of the band Dead Works. It was two weeks on the west coast. I was hooked. Came back, and they asked me to join the band. Two weeks later we took off for the east coast for three weeks. I was in heaven. Wasn't glamorous by any means, lots ofsleeping in the van. I loved it so much though that i contiued to tour with them for 11 years! Now I'm in more of the alternative country scene. More gigs there, and more frequent. 15 years of proffessional performing!
Experience Teaching:
I taught at School of Rock Rockwall for about six years.
