About Me

I am a guitarist with 5 years of playing experience and a strong passion for helping beginners learn in a fun, clear, and supportive environment. I have 2 years of experience playing in my church band, where I gained real-world experience performing with other musicians in a live setting. I also regularly jam with friends, which keeps my playing creative, practical, and enjoyable. Alongside guitar, I work as a DJ with experience performing at weddings and on the radio. This has given me a strong understanding of music, rhythm, timing, and reading a crowd, all of which carry over into how I approach teaching and playing music. While I am new to teaching guitar, I am committed to creating lessons that are patient, easy to follow, and tailored to each student’s pace. I continue to develop my skills through private instruction with a professional guitarist, which helps me grow as both a musician and a teacher. My focus is on helping students build confidence from day one by learning essential fundamentals like chords, strumming, rhythm, and simple songs. I aim to make lessons enjoyable and motivating so students can steadily progress while having fun with music. Outside of teaching and performing, I also enjoy DJing and collecting vinyl records, which keeps me inspired and connected to music in different ways.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

I specialize in working with new players and focus on making the learning process clear, approachable, and enjoyable form the very start. We'll cover the fundamental step-by-step, including proper posture, how to hold and tune a guitar, basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs. Lessons are paced according to each students comfort level, so there is not pressure to move faster than you are ready for. I emphasize building confidence along with skill, helping to ensure students feel proud of their progress early on. We'll also touch on basic music concepts rhythm and timing to give you a strong foundation as you grow. Whether your goal is to play a new songs, learn a new hobby, or build towards more advanced techniques, I'm here to guide and encourage you every step of the way.
