About Me

I attend SUNY purchase college, and guitar is a huge part of my life. I’m pretty well versed in a lot of styles, from jazz harmony to bluegrass to even extreme metal. I mostly make acoustic music, and have a folk album out under the name Flyover years. I also make electronic music and play guitar in a couple bands between school and NYC. I started self taught, and then in college learned more concrete music theory and applied it to my playing. I’ve given lessons to children before and it has always been a positive experience. I’ve also had a lot of experience with child care, and would make it a fun experience for the kid as well as productive for whatever they are trying to get out of the lesson. I would definitely prioritize tangible progress that the student can feel good about right off the bat. Hope you consider me!
