Dalian has always loved music from an early age. He began playing euphonium at the age of 13 and continued his education in music from then all the way through graduate school. Dalian received his Bachelor of Arts in Music degree at Columbus State University's Schwob School of Music, and did his graduate studies at SUNY Fredonia where he studied both music performance and composition. His musical influences include Astor Piazzolla, JJ Johnson, and Bastien Baumet. Dalian's favorite thing about music is the many places and people he has gotten to meet and see because he is a musician. His favorite thing about teaching music is being an impactful part of the musical journey for everyone he works with.
