About Me

Hi, my name is Jerrod and I am a Drummer from Peoria AZ. I have been a student of music for 6 years. My musical influences include Steve Gad, Tony Roy Jr., Eric Moore, Ronald Bruner, Fred Boswell Jr. and I also enjoy Christian Contemporary Music. My teaching style can be best described as fun, energetic and creative. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I encourage students to be challenged, to give it and have fun doing it. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the basics, grow from the basics and to apply those basics in everyday life. I like to tell my students I am here for them every step of the way. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the excitement on a kids ready to dive in and learn how to play on a professional instrument. My favorite performance was seeing Black Violin. My students love that I am excited to teach them what I learned from drummers before me. I primarily teach Drums, but I can also teach how to record, write songs. My approach as a teacher is to provide my best self as an instructor to the client to be a team player and to leave an inspirational and impactful memory that will be with them forever.
