Hi, my name is Eldon and I am a professional musician as well as music teacher. I have been a student of music for 39 years. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I like to ask my students what do they want to learn how to play. Do they want to learn how to play their favorite song or do they want to concentrate of learning how to read music. My favorite thing about teaching is watching students progress and the joy that they have when learning how to a play a rhythm or a song for the first time. My students love that I let them do what they want to do as far learning the basics of drum playing. I primarily teach drums and percussion, but I can also teach basic piano as far as notes and structure on piano. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Hope to meet you soon!
