Professional guitarist and music educator with international experience in both performance and teaching. I was a member of the band Cimafunk from 2018 to 2024, performing on major stages and developing a strong artistic presence. In addition, I served as a Guitar and Ensemble Practice Professor at the National School of Arts in Havana, where I gained experience in structured teaching and designing lesson plans for students of different skill levels. As an instructor, I focus on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students can develop both technical skills and musical expression. My teaching approach combines discipline, creativity, and adaptability to meet each student’s individual needs. Currently based in Houston, Texas, I am committed to continuing my career as a music educator, bringing both my performance experience and passion for teaching into the classroom. As a native Spanish speaker, I can also support bilingual students and contribute to diverse learning environments.
