Experienced piano/keyboard teacher in Chelsea, Manhattan, NYC. My primary musical influences are classical (Bach, Beethoven), jazz (Duke Ellington, Chick Corea), contemporary/pop (Billy, Joel, Ben Folds), prog/rock, (Rick Wakeman, Jordan Rudess.) I can effectively teach any genre both using written sheet music or by ear, whichever the student prefers.
Aaron W is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons .
Formal Education:
Received B.M. from Rutgers University in piano and music technology.
Private Education:
Studied classical with Dr. James Johnson and contemporary with Steve Raybine.
Performing Experience:
Have performed live with Preston Love, Maroon 5, Marc Anthony, and Kary Perry. Also worked professionally for Carnival Cruise Lines in their showbands from 2010-2013.
Experience Teaching:
Worked as an assistant piano/keyboard instructor from 2006-2010 teaching over 100 students during that time.
