Don has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 8 and continued his education by daily practice and performances. His musical influences include parents, church musicians, and popular bands on radio. Don's favorite thing about music is the joy it brings to everyone and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing students grow and enjoy learning to play. One of his favorite teaching experiences was seeing his students perform in recital at an arts center. When taking lessons with Don you can expect ear training, note reading, learning chord charts, improvisation and composition.
