With almost a decade of piano teaching experience, Eden has had the joy of nurturing the musical skills of students from all walks of life, ranging in age from 5 to 75. Her teaching philosophy is to help students develop not only technical skill, but also creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Lessons are always tailored to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style while maintaining steady, consistent progress. Eden aims to make piano lessons both structured and enjoyable, creating a space where students feel comfortable, supported, and capable of growing at the piano. Whether working with a young beginner just starting out or an adult returning to music, she meets each student where they are and helps them build skills they can feel proud of—skills that can be carried with them for a lifetime.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
In the first lesson, Eden focuses on getting to know the student and their current musical background, including any foundational skills, prior experience, and learning style. This helps establish an appropriate starting point and learning plan tailored to the individual student. For students (and parent/ guardians if under 18), the first lesson also includes a review of lesson expectations outlined in the studio agreement with the parent or guardian. Basic concepts such as posture, hand position, and practice structure are introduced as needed, along with initial beginner material when appropriate.
Formal Education:
Eden completed a year of focused study in piano performance and vocal performance, gaining experience in applied lessons, performance practice, and music theory. This training strengthened her technical foundation, musicianship, and understanding of both solo and collaborative performance.
Private Education:
Eden has received 11 years of private piano instruction and 1 year of private voice training. This long-term study provided a strong foundation in technique, music reading, performance practice, and musical expression in both disciplines.
Performing Experience:
Eden has performance experience in both piano and voice, including solo recitals and piano accompaniment work. She has participated in solo and ensemble festivals with graded adjudications, as well as earned performance scholarships in both piano and voice.
Experience Teaching:
Eden has nearly a decade of private piano teaching experience with students of all ages and levels. She has worked with beginners through advanced students, focusing on foundational skills, musical growth, and performance preparation. Her teaching emphasizes individualized instruction, consistent progress, and strong practice habits tailored to each student’s goals.
