While I do not have extensive experience teaching piano lessons I've had one adult student, I have a minor in piano performance. I also studied pipe organ. I have played solo and in groups and play at an advanced level. I have a solid foundation in theory and have been researching piano teaching methods. I do have extensive teaching as a former college writing instructor, so I do have a firm grasp on general teaching pedagogy and how to connect with students individually. I also have mentoring experience in multiple realms.
