Hi, my name is Carter and I am a drummer from Indiana. I have been a student of music for 11 years. My musical influences mostly come from marching band and indoor percussion. My goal is to provide the student with the tools to grow on their own, with me there to help guide them on their musical journey. My teaching philosophy involves new challenges and always pushing them to their fullest potential. In my lessons, you can expect things to be slow at first to build strong technical habits. I like to tell my students "practice is progress." My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth of the students over their journey. My favorite performance was when we won Indiana marching band state finals my senior year. My students love that I make an effort to get to know them.
