About Me

Hi! I’m a voice teacher with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Wichita State University, with professional experience in musical productions and over three years as a lead singer and dancer with Carnival Cruise Line. I grew up loving Motown, jazz, gospel, rock, along with musical theatre, which shaped my belief that singers don’t have to fit into just one style. I encourage students to explore what they love and build confidence in their unique voice. I’m comfortable teaching a wide range of genres, including musical theatre, pop, rock, and indie. I especially enjoy working with kids and beginner adult singers. With experience in both performance and classroom settings, I create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and fun while building a strong technical foundation and encouraging creativity. I’m committed to creating an inclusive space and welcome students of all backgrounds, abilities, and disabilities. Lessons are personalized. We warm up, set goals, and work on music you enjoy. Whether you’re aiming for the stage or just singing for fun, I’d love to work with you!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

Students can expect a supportive, fun, and personalized environment where they feel comfortable exploring their voice. Each lesson starts with a solid warm-up to build healthy technique, followed by goal-setting so we stay focused on what you want to achieve. We’ll work on building a strong vocal foundation (breath support, tone, range, and control) while also exploring songs and styles you genuinely enjoy. I encourage creativity and self-expression, helping students grow in confidence and find their own unique sound.
