About Me

Hey there my name is Ara, I’m from Brooklyn New York, been playing music for about 5 years now, teaching for about 3. Im a guitar player who specializes in a few different genres such as rock, metal, pop, funk, country, and a bit of jazz and classical, I can play bass, and a bit of banjo too I’ve played in a couple different bands and have played many shows in around and outside of the city, at venues such as the bitter end, mercury lounge, Bowery electric, etc I have experience in a good amount of music theory, I can offer a way to better understand the fret board, your guitar, and how to make the instrument work for you. I can teach picking, finger style, or hybrid picking.
