Hi, my name is Evan! I've been playing the guitar for over 15 years and am eager to share my approach to listening and learning with students. I've participated in bands throughout my life as a performer, singer, songwriter and of course a guitarist. Additionally, I am an independent producer who is passionate about record engineering. In taking lessons with me, you can expect a focus on listening to a variety of music and bringing out your inherent musicianship. Broadly speaking, we will do this by learning the guitar as one would learn a spoken language: by learning the rules, we understand how to break them so that we can better communicate ourselves as musicians.
