About Me

Hello there! My name is Eric, I'm a Charleston native, lover of music, and I've been playing guitar ever since I was 17 years old! I originally wanted to play the violin, but I couldn't connect with it; it wasn't resonating or making sense to my young mind. Many years later, on one fateful summer, I picked up my brother's guitar, and I realized that this was the instrument I was meant to play. So at the risk of sounding corny, "the instrument chooses the player". I love pretty much every genre of music, but I will always hold hard rock, alternate metal, and heavy metal in a special place in my heart. I will often find myself playing songs from Disturbed, Sevendust, The Hu, Korn, Rob Zombie, and the like. That said, I will always try to play songs by artist like The Weeknd, MIley Cyrus, and Ariana Grande to name a few. I primarily have taught friends and family how to play from the very first steps to the first steps into intermediary.
