Jarrett Bastow is a freelance bassist, educator, and clinician based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He performs regularly with orchestras across Texas and the surrounding region while maintaining an active teaching studio specializing in cello and double bass instruction. Through his work with Low End String Academy and Strung Low Teaching Studio, Jarrett focuses on building strong technical foundations, healthy playing habits, musical independence, and long-term artistic growth for students of all ages and levels. In addition to teaching and performing, he is the founder of Opus Freelance Music Coaching, where he helps freelance musicians develop sustainable careers through structure, strategy, and professional development.
