About Me

My name is Marshall, and I am a 2026 graduating high school senior at John I Leonard with a strong passion for music and performance. I am excited to apply for a position at your company, where I can combine my musical experience with my enthusiasm for helping others. I have over eight years of experience playing saxophone tenor, alto, and soprano, along with twelve years of piano. I also perform on clarinet, mellophone, and trumpet in various ensembles, including jazz band, concert band, marching band, and winter winds. Most recently, I was honored to be a featured soloist at the 2026 WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio. In addition, I served as Woodwind Captain in my band program, where I mentored other students and help foster a positive and hardworking environment. Through my musical journey, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to guide others—qualities that I believe are essential when teaching others how to play music. I genuinely enjoy helping people find the right fit for their musical goals and creating a welcomingexperience.
