Hello! I'm Esmeralda, but feel free to call me Emy. I have been singing since childhood and recently received my Bachelor's degree in Music. Music has changed my life and provided opportunities for travel, education, life-long connections, and freedom for self-expression. In teaching voice, I focus on the connection between body and mind. Singing shouldn't feel difficult, it should be fun and liberating! My teachings are reliant on vocal health and pedagogy to get the most effective and efficient sound from a student that is comfortable for them. I want singing to inspire someone the same way it inspires me. Encouragement and positive reinforcement is always the top of my priority. To sing freely and healthily allows us to sing with expression and joy!

What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce
Beginner - Intermediate
You may bring in a project you’ve already started or we can start from scratch! Some lessons may be simply learning how to produce from scratch. Learning the fundamentals of audio is important before doing anything in a DAW.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
All lessons will be focused on vocal health! I want you to be set with the foundational skills that set you up to sing any genre. Singing should be fun and free. Our lessons will be engaging, enjoyable, and most importantly educational. But trust that singing is trial and error, we are figuring out our voices, so it’s essential to treat them gently!
Formal Education:
I received my Bachelors Degree and studied at Stetson Universities School of Music in Voice and Digital Audio/Art.
Performing Experience:
I’ve performed in many states with Stetsons University choir as a soloist, an active performer in Stetson’s Operas Hansel and Gretel and the Mother, Le Nozze di Figaro as Contessa, and as River in the Musical “In Pieces” by Joey Contreras. Also, performed a song from In Pieces for Joey Contreras in a Master Class. I perform locally too!
