Hello! My name is Emily and I am a board-eligible Music Therapist from Lafayette, LA. I have been involved in music for over 10 years through student choirs, voice, guitar, ukulele and piano lessons as well as mass choirs. My teaching style focuses on my music therapy education by meeting every child where they are at and providing each child with the best music education style that matches their individual needs. I have experience teaching adaptive music lessons for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as typical lessons. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to learn about every students music preferences and adapting to their individual learning styles. I primarily teach beginner voice and beginner guitar, but I can also teach beginner piano lessons as well as adaptive lessons for individuals with ID/DD.
