About Me

I am Jackson, born and raised here in Phoenix. I know first hand how inaccessible private lessons for percussion is in the city, and I am passionate on making a difference to support young Arizonian musicians. I have graduated my AA degree in percussion performance May 2026, finishing as the percussion's first chair in the concert band. I have been under the wing of Doug Nottingham, Bill Humbert, Suyin Tan, and many more well established instructors. Currently I am the percussion caption head at Greenway Highschool and work every week with students of all unique personalities. At that job i specialize in marching percussion, but work with them during their concert season, giving lessons as they wish. I believe when i get my new schedule established full time working now, no more school, i can invest in these students to help grow the communuty.
