My name is Matthew and I my musical journey began in 5th grade when I started learning the violin. I attended the University of Houston and graduated with a Bachelors of Music Education. After graduating, I taught high school orchestra for eleven years in Pasadena, Texas, a suburb of Houston. During my time there, I had students consistently place in the TMEA Region 19 Orchestra, as well as in the TMEA All State Orchestras.
