About Me

I don’t just teach music; I teach performance with purpose! As a singer, songwriter, and producer currently completing my degree in Popular Music and Technology at UNCG, I bring a soulful, modern edge to vocal coaching. My journey began at age 8, and since then, I’ve graced the stage in iconic roles like Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray and Ursula in The Little Mermaid, giving me a deep understanding of vocal strength, versatility, and stage presence philosophy aligns perfectly with 'Learning to Play From the Heart.' Whether I’m leading as Miss NAACP, recording in the studio, or performing gospel and R&B, my goal is always to uplift and inspire. I specialize in helping students find their unique 'soulful expression' while leveraging my background in music technology to help them understand their sound in a modern way.I’m moving to the Durham area this June and I am ready to help my students connect authentically with their music and find the star within themselves!
