Hey everyone my name is Oliver. I am a musician that plays multiple instruments including Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums, and I sing. My main instrument is Guitar, and I have been playing for over 5 years, and I have experience with multiple gigs including playing for my school, playing in various music scenes, etc. I would love to teach anyone basic guitar skills.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
So what I would teach is the fundamentals-Getting comfortable with finger pain, open chords, switching chords, etc. We would progress to slightly more advanced topics such as: Barre Chords (major, minor, seventh, etc.), arpeggios, etc. I would be open to going up to a basic intermediate level, including topics such as: picking (alternate picking), bending, pentatonic scale, power chords (regular, open, etc.). All that is expected is your openness to learn and your dedication to practice. Repetition, repetition, repetition!
Formal Education:
First year at Middlesex College; Pursuing a Music Fine Arts Associate's degree
Private Education:
Self-taught guitarist with 5+ years of experience. Learned through books, videos, listening to my favorite guitarists, and advice from other guitarists
Performing Experience:
Performed for my high school, various music scenes (hardcore, New Brunswick Rutgers college music scene, performed at a bar, etc.)
Experience Teaching:
No formal teaching experience, but I have helped/advised other guitarists and have helped friends interested in learning guitar
