My name is Gabe. I am a drummer and a singer with 3 years of teaching experience teaching private drum and voice lessons out of Ankeny/Des Moines Iowa. I am currently finishing my bachelor’s in Music Education at the University of Northern Iowa, where I play drums for the jazz department and sing as a vocal education major. I am a versatile musician, and this is what makes taking lessons with me valuable and more fun! Since I am educated to such a high level in percussion and voice, I have an understanding of the music techniques, disciplines, and practices that drive all music learning. In my lessons, we will employ techniques that strengthen the musician using a wide variety of instrument philosophies, while working towards goals that you set! I play in various bands rock, jazz, funk in the state of Iowa as well as direct a church choir in Waterloo. I am very excited to take on more students this year!
