Hello, my name is Dylan, and I am a double bassist from Marietta, GA. I have been a student of music for over 20 years. In my lessons, you can expect to learn all about the double bass from the fundamentals of technique all the way up to advanced levels of musicianship required for serious players. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students grow, improve, and experience the joy that can be found in playing an instrument. I primarily teach classical, but I can also teach jazz and bass in other settings. My approach as a teacher is to assess each student as an individual and tailor my methods to their specific needs.
