My name is Van, and I am a passionate pianist and music educator with a strong background in both performance and teaching. I recently earned my Master of Arts in Piano Performance from Webster University and have several years of experience teaching students of different ages and skill levels in both Vietnam and the United States. Music has always been more than just a profession for me—it is a way to inspire confidence, discipline, creativity, and personal growth in others. Throughout my teaching career, I have focused on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to develop both technically and artistically. I enjoy tailoring lessons to each student’s individual learning style and goals while helping them build a lifelong appreciation for music. In addition to teaching, I have leadership and community experience through founding a music center and organizing concert programs that connected students, families, and local artists. These experiences helped me develop strong communication, organization, and mentorship skills. I am excited about the opportunity to join Tay Johnson Music because I value education, creativity, and meaningful connections with students.
