About Me

Hello! My name is Nicole, and I am a voice teacher and recent graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where I earned my master’s degree in vocal performance. I am currently relocating to the area and would love the opportunity to teach with your organization. I currently teach students ages 6–16 and am also happy to work with young adults and adult learners. My teaching style prioritizes student engagement, confidence-building, and fostering a lifelong love of music. I incorporate elements of the Kodály method, basic sight-singing skills, and science-backed vocal pedagogy to help students build healthy technique while developing musical confidence and self-expression. What I love most about teaching music is watching students grow, not only as musicians, but as people. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more confident using their voice, more comfortable expressing themselves, and watching that confidence ripple into other areas of their lives. I also love seeing students develop a deeper curiosity and joy for music over time.
