I started to play the guitar at ten years of age. But it didn't take off until junior high. I just fell in love with the instrument. In high school my love grew much wider than just the guitar. I took AP music theory and found an appreciation for so much more. My senior year I joined jazz band. But I love all genres of music. Some of my influences early on were rock players like: Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Buck Dharma, and Richie Blackmore. After I grew up I realized there are amazing players everywhere. I now enjoy people like: Herb Ellis, Django Reinhart, Albert Lee, Danny Gatton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and T-bone Walker. I wish to teach as a profession.
