Jordyn is a passionate musician, songwriter, and instructor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a concentration in songwriting, along with 4+ years of teaching experience helping students of all ages build confidence, technique, and creativity. Her performance background is diverse—from nearly 20 years in theater, to performing, traveling, and holding leadership roles in three collegiate vocal ensembles, where she developed strong skills in stage presence, vocal performance, and musical leadership. Today, Jordyn serves on staff at a church, helping oversee the choir and songwriting ministry, where she mentors vocalists, musicians, and songwriters. Whether students want to improve their skills, prepare for performances, or grow in confidence, Jordyn is passionate about creating a fun, encouraging environment where they can thrive.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

Students can expect a supportive, engaging environment where Jordyn tailors each lesson to their individual level—whether they are a beginner just finding their voice or an intermediate singer looking to refine their skills. In lessons, students will work on:-Healthy vocal technique (breath support, tone, pitch control, and range development)-Building confidence in performance and stage presence-Ear training and improving pitch accuracy-Song interpretation and connecting emotionally to music-Expanding vocal range and control through safe, practical exercises Beginner students will focus on building strong foundational habits and discovering how their voice works, while intermediate students will refine technique, strengthen consistency, and begin developing more expressive, stylistic choices as an artist. Above all, Jordyn creates a positive, encouraging space where students feel comfortable taking risks, growing at their own pace, and gaining confidence in their voice.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner -

Students can expect a fun, encouraging, and beginner-friendly environment where creativity is the focus. Jordyn’s songwriting lessons are designed to help new songwriters build confidence and learn the foundations of writing original music in a way that feels approachable and exciting. Lessons may include: -Learning the basics of song structure (verse, chorus, bridge, etc.) -Exploring how to write lyrics and melodies -Understanding simple chord progressions and how songs are built -Finding inspiration and learning how to turn ideas into songs -Building creative confidence and overcoming the fear of “getting it wrong” No prior songwriting experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, create, and have fun while discovering your unique voice as a songwriter.

Formal Education:

Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Worship Leadership with an emphasis in Songwriting, Minor in Mass Communications from Union University (Union University), graduated December 2024.

Private Education:

Performing Experience:

Performed extensively across a variety of professional and collegiate settings. Traveled for three years with a premier collegiate a cappella ensemble, gaining experience in high-level live performance, vocal precision, and ensemble leadership. Also toured and performed with Grammy Award–winning artist Laura Story, contributing vocals in live worship and concert settings. Additional experience includes leading and supporting worship in church environments, participating in large-scale worship gatherings, and performing in theatrical and musical productions over nearly two decades, with a strong foundation in live audience engagement and collaborative musicianship.

Experience Teaching:

Provided private and small-group vocal instruction for students. Taught foundational and intermediate vocal technique, including breath control, pitch accuracy, tone development, and healthy singing habits. Adapted teaching methods to fit individual learning styles and skill levels, creating a flexible and supportive learning environment. Integrated worship performance coaching, helping students develop confidence, stage presence, and expressive delivery in both solo and ensemble settings.
